The Stratus XP borrows from the classic Stratus frame the passive suspension and adds the performance increasing aspect of dual big wheels. Only 2.875" longer over the classic Stratus, this is perhaps as compact as big wheel long wheel base recumbents get. The bike does it all well, climb, cruise, and handling. A potent racer, with and without fairings, and excellent touring or commuting machine, the Stratus XP is the amazing combination of a performance machine that will serve the novice well into the expert phase. Refined features include: Rad-Loc seat clamp, Mesh seat, Sculpted foam cushion, Reynolds tubing frame, beautifully TIG welded and powered coated to a sparkling Corvette blue. The frame features such design advances as “Y” chain stay, and single shaft idlers, disc brake mounts front and rear. Choose between one of two bar choices, the
3-way chopper style, or the hi-tech T-bar. Options include: rear racks, Velocity Thracian wheels, and several seat options.
